When Kālī Keeps Dancing

As you read this story of Kālī’s dance in this journal entry, take a few quiet breaths and let her energy move through you.
This entry is an invitation to notice where you still feel the pulse of doing, the part of you that can’t quite stop, even when everything is complete.

Then ask yourself gently:

  • Where in my life am I still dancing after the battle is over?

  • What part of me is asking to rest, to be received, to touch the heart?

  • What would it feel like to let my feet, the most grounded part of me, meet the heart, the most tender?

You may like to close your eyes, place one hand on your heart and one on your feet or thighs, and breathe into that meeting.
Let the current of Kālī soften into love,
and let the body remember what it is to be held by awareness.
