SACRED LIVING
Sacred Living was born from recognising a gap between spiritual practice and everyday life.
Many people dedicate themselves to yoga, meditation, mantra, or other sacred practices, yet struggle to carry that sense of connection into the ordinary moments of their day. Others are deeply committed to their spiritual path but become depleted, striving so hard that they lose the very steadiness they are seeking.
Sacred Living exists to bridge that gap.
It brings together the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda with the inner teachings of yoga, offering practical ways to integrate both into daily life. Rather than seeing spiritual practice as something separate from ordinary living, Sacred Living recognises that every moment has the potential to become sacred.
Sometimes that looks like sitting quietly with a cup of tea before the household wakes. Sometimes it is pausing for a conscious breath before responding to a child. Sometimes it is choosing nourishment instead of pushing through exhaustion. These small, intentional moments become the foundation of a life lived with greater awareness.
The Sanskrit word Svastha beautifully expresses this philosophy. Often translated as "health," its deeper meaning is to be established in one's Self. True wellbeing is not simply the absence of illness but living from a place of inner steadiness, clarity, and connection.
Sacred Living is an invitation to return to that place, again and again.

Work with me
Why Learn with Rabia?
My work is grounded in more than twenty-five years of studying Yoga, Ayurveda and contemplative practice, and shaped by many years of living, practising and serving within the Siddha Yoga tradition under the guidance of Swami Shankarananda and Devi Ma Saraswati.
The deepest teachings are not only studied, they are lived.
It is a privilege to walk beside women as they establish a life of sincere sādhana, allowing the timeless wisdom of the tradition to become a natural expression of everyday life.
